the 20b. person

I’m Rose Cowell, founder of Twenty Bites. Over more than 15 years in food, I have worked across fine dining, commercial baking, pastry production, product development, training, and culinary business development. That range lets me move between the kitchen and the conference room without losing what matters in either one.

I built Twenty Bites after seeing the same gap again and again: strong products and smart teams can still struggle when culinary knowledge, technical detail, and creative execution live in separate places. I bridge those disciplines so the work stays credible, clear, and useful from the first concept to the customer-facing moment.

Twenty Bites means start slow, absorb everything, then execute fast. I learn the product, the people, and the constraints before I move. That is how I build work that fits the brand and holds up in the real world.

Outside of work, you will find me open-water swimming in Lake Michigan, hunting down the best apple fritter, enjoying a cigar, or putting miles on a BMW K1600GT.

the 20b. philosophy

I move quickly; in kitchens, on projects, through airports and cities. Even my walking pace has been a topic of debate. But I’ve learned that the right results don’t come from speed alone.

One afternoon, I read an article claiming it takes twenty bites to fully break down and digest food, allowing for complete nutrient absorption. In theory, sure. In practice? Not my style. At least not until I realized the lesson behind it.

Twenty Bites became my philosophy: start slow, absorb everything, then execute fast. I take time to understand a client’s voice, vision, and flavor before moving with precision and momentum. The result? Disciplined beginnings that lead to faster, better outcomes.

the 20b. promise

I help food and hospitality brands turn big ideas into practical, profitable results. Twenty Bites exists to bridge the gap between kitchen know-how and strategic brand execution.

Too many agencies overlook the realities of food production and the nuances of the industry. My approach is different: immerse fully in your vision, take deliberate “bites” to develop and refine, then deliver solutions built for the real world.

My promise:

  • Exceed expectations through quality, not hype.

  • Build trust through transparency and collaboration.

  • Keep the process creative, approachable, and results-driven.

At Twenty Bites, I don’t just consult. I live your brand, create, implement, and help you thrive in a competitive market.
